Layout sizing mode
- Single configuration — one mount + portrait; standard sweep for that config only
- Compare configurations (2–3) — pick e.g. SAT 1P vs SAT 2P; each runs at recommended industry pitch (compare guide)
Layout sweep table
Run layout sweep packs rows at multiple pitches for each mount/portrait combination (e.g. Fixed 2P at GCR 0.30–0.42, SAT 1P/2P at tracker pitch steps). Each row shows DC capacity, MWp/ha, module count, and pitch in metres.
Optimization modes
- Balanced — default pitch band for screening; good starting point for client review
- High energy — favours tighter pitch / higher GCR where geometry allows
- Land optimized — wider pitch when land cost or Agri-PV spacing matters
- Custom GCR — enter a target GCR (0.15–0.75); sweep validates at that density
Row alignment mode
- Aligned — clean string grid; rows follow a regular block pattern
- Non-aligned — fills irregular pockets; may yield higher MWp on fragmented parcels
Refine pitch
After selecting a sweep row, enter a custom pitch (metres) and re-run to refine capacity at that exact spacing without re-scanning every configuration.
Land cost slider
Optional land-cost input shifts the recommended GCR toward higher or lower density — useful when lease €/ha or Agri-PV dual-use economics drive row spacing decisions.
Tracker slope exclusion
For SAT layouts, optional exclude high-slope zones from tracker packing uses TerrainIQ slope data to skip rows where cross-row grade exceeds your limit.
Single-axis tracker geometry
Tracker GCR and pitch use the physical row width at maximum rotation, not flat table width alone. Set rotation limits on the schematic; see tracker row geometry for PDF disclosure and EPC screening context.
