Refund Policy

1. Trials

Evaluation access may be granted at our discretion for a limited period. No payment is taken and no refund applies. Trial access ends automatically on the expiry date; your account and previously generated results remain accessible, but new analyses and exports require a paid plan.

2. Paid subscriptions (Starter, Team, Enterprise)

Paid plans are activated via Stripe checkout or by manual invoice. Unless otherwise stated at checkout:

• Monthly plans: you may cancel before the next billing date; access continues until the end of the paid period. We do not refund partial months except where required by law.
• Annual prepayment — voluntary goodwill refund: if you cancel within 14 days of first payment and have not substantially used paid export features, contact us for a full refund of the annual fee actually paid for that subscription period (no pro-rata “unused months” deduction under this goodwill policy — it is all-or-nothing within the 14-day window). Substantial use means you downloaded at least one of: unified PVMath report PDF, Layout A1 PDF, or project package ZIP for a non-sample project after payment. Opening the app, editing a project, or running analyses without those downloads is not substantial use. After 14 days, annual fees are non-refundable under this voluntary policy except where EU consumer law requires otherwise.
• Service issues: if the Platform is unavailable for an extended period due to our fault, contact contact@pvmath.com — we may offer a credit or pro-rata extension at our discretion.

This voluntary annual refund does not limit mandatory statutory remedies. Opening the app or running analyses without exporting does not, by itself, exhaust this goodwill refund.

3. How to cancel or request a refund

Email contact@pvmath.com from your account email with subject PVMath billing. Include your account email and whether you want to cancel or dispute a charge. We respond within 5 business days.

4. EU consumers

If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for distance contracts (BGB §355 ff.). Digital services and downloadable digital content have specific rules (including BGB §356). Starting paid use and requesting immediate export/download may affect withdrawal rights only where the statutory conditions are met (including any required clear request and acknowledgment). We will not treat a single export as automatically ending all statutory rights without those conditions.
